ForMOVe I: Book Presentation in Puebla

On the 19th of March 2024, our research team presented the book 'Forced Migration Across Mexico: Organised Violence, Migrant Struggles, and Life Trajectories', edited by Ximena Alba Villalever, Oscar Calderón Morillon, Ludger Pries und Stephanie Schütze, as part of the research project ForMOVe I: A Comparative Study in Europe and the Americas at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) in Puebla, México. The event was attended by the project director Prof. Dr. Stephanie Schütze, the project coordinators Dr. Susanne Willers and Dr. Ximena Alba Villalever, and the cooperating researchers Prof. Dr. Oscar Calderón Morillon (BUAP Mexico) and Dr. Gabriel Alberto Ruiz Romero (University of Medellín, Colombia). 80 students attended the event, including the students' research assistants who helped with the questionnaire interviews. In addition, our colleague Dr. Xochitl Bada (University of Chicago) commented on the book.
